I was talking to my 80 year old Aunt and she was telling me things that I didn’t know. Then I realized what a treasure chest they are. Our older generation was there during a lot of things and once they’re gone all that information is gone. I guess throughout history that has happened over and over. Some world events and people with first hand knowledge of what really happened.

What’s really amazing when you talking to someone and they start on a topic and you’re just looking at them going …what? I mean it will be about you or your family and it’ll be things that you never knew. I really need to get with her and my mother and start recording some conversation so that there is a record of it out there…

Maybe that should be like Resolution 1, to document all I can this year… hmm… amongst other things.
