The movie, “The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford”, took me a few years to actually watch. Seeing that there were some good actors in the movie I decided to watch one evening.

It’s not that is was a bad movie but it’s not one I’d watch again. Slow in most parts but probably accurate of the times of “Jesse James”.  It told the story of “Jesse James” from the point of one of the last train robberies to the end of his life. I’ve heard since I was a kid about Jesse James and always got the idea he was some type of hero. I knew otherwise the after watching the movie realized he was a thief and murderer who really doesn’t deserve and recognition.

The movie is worth a watch ONCE, but never a second time.
