It’s just another Tuesday!

OK… I love Tacos and every Tuesday want Taco Tuesdays but I think I’m the only one in my family who really loves Tacos!  Tacos with some chips and salsa, maybe some re-fried beans, and rice… how can anyone go wrong with a dinner like that … !

Well a nice t bone steak with some shrimp and baked potato does sound awesome but for the price. We are the poor people, we eat veggie stew while everyone else eats steak. PBJ and soup sound GREAT as well. lol

I told Shannon, my wife, that we’d eat at Coney Island Hot Dog over in Brooksville tonight. The only downside is there is 5 of us and it’s about $10 – $12 each. So it’s an Easy $60 for all of us to travel over there and eat hot dogs. I always cringe about the price but usually has a great time and really enjoy the food.

Great…just heard that our renter is out of there July 1st so we’re not getting any rent for the month of June. Just another $641 I’m going to have to come up with each month. FML

Shit…Now my tooth hurts

I can’t win… first all this shit about being sick, running fevers, getting this damn stint shoved up in me and now my tooth is hurting again.

I’m still not running at 100% as you can see by the blog entries. I just couldn’t muster enough energy to do a entry last night. I’m feeling a little better each day but Friday that have to go in and black the stones with a laser. I’m really hoping they’ll put me under during the procedure but I don’t think they are. It’s still a few days away and I’m nervous about the entire procedure.

Out of the Hospital

Wow… I’ve been in the hospital the better part of a week. I didn’t feel good again last weekend and went to the hospital and they admitted me and did 90 kinds of test it seems.

I have severely infected kidney stones. I guess that is whats been giving me the fevers and all the problems for the last month. I will take a couple more weeks to get everything strait but after that I should be back to normal.

Hopefully!

My 2 year old can dive

IMG_2933She won’t be 2 until later this month but I’m so proud of her diving into the pool… she loves the water! The other kids loved the water but I think shes taking it to another level! Rock on Bella!

Someone left the cake out in the rain

danelle922

MacArthur’s park is melting in the dark
All the sweet green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don’t think that I can take it ’cause it took so long to bake it
And I’ll never have that recipe again, oh, no

One of Donna Summers songs that I’ll never forget…LOL

Taught a Long Class

I taught a Contractors Continuing Education class today, it was 7 hours of the required modules. I have to teach them every couple of weeks and it’s not a bad class just a boring class to teach. I enjoy teaching when I’m doing it and always feel great, but once the class is over I feel exhausted. I guess it’s the mental stress of teaching and focusing on so many people at once. I’m really not complaining as much as stating facts… it wears my big ass out! lol

I teach a Home Inspectors class tomorrow, which I really enjoy teaching. I walk them from the beginning to end of a typical home inspection and cover the paperwork and hurricane mitigation forms.  Even though I love teaching the class I’ll still be worn out tomorrow afternoon. But that’s OK, because I’ve got the weekend off. So far we’re not doing anything this weekend and I can set back and relax. I’m going to take some photographs and do whatever I want to do, not what someone else wants to do.

Friday is my oddball day. I’m not teaching and they have me in the office all day… god I dreading that. I’ll be waiting to leave all day! But Friday evening I’m going to have a couple of beers, I’m going to kick back and watch a couple of movies of my choice and once again enjoy the evening.  Watch I-Frankenstein, Dark Shadows, and maybe Jane Mansfields car. So get my cold tea and popcorn ready, my relaxing Friday Night… here I come!

Praying for a Quiet Week!

unnamed (1)Sunday didn’t start the week out well with my youngest some breaking his wrist and injuring his back. He’s going to be OK we just need to get his hand in a cast. Poor kid, but I’m very proud of him for trying to do something that scared the HELL out of him.

Monday is here and is typically the beginning. So I’ll work on my lessons tomorrow and teach Wednesday and Thursday this week. Friday I’ll catch up with phone calls and whatever else I need to catch up on. I have another weekend off which I’m looking forward to! I’m doing a little of nothing this entire coming up weekend.

Wednesday is a Required Continuing Education class. Even though I’ve taught it hundreds of times I always get a little nervous when I have to teach it to a large class. Why I’m not sure, the day always comes and goes! But it keeps me redoing and preparing the for the class.

Thursday’s class in Home Inspectors, which is always an enjoyable class. It always seems to go very quickly as well. I always get great compliments on the class as well.

I am trying to decide what I’m going to have for dinner this Saturday! I’m not sure how that looks, trying to decide what’s for dinner on a Monday morning.

So far it’s quiet… I did a couple hour webinar, drove home, OH WAIT… my check engine light came on a stayed on! That means a few hundred dollars…shit – damn- fuck!

There is just something about that photo I like… I can’t put my finger on it!

Just Got Back from Hospital…

brok2913It’s been a long afternoon!

My son fell from a zip line that goes over water, unfortunately he was still over land. He broke his wrist, both bones. We just got back from the hospital.

His back looks OK, so that is a great thing! But I feel so bad for him because of his wrist. I know it hurts like a mother.

Father, Son, and Daughter Takes a Swim

IMG_2763Eric, Isabella, and I went for an afternoon swim. Everyone had a great time, especially Isabella. She’s learned not to be afraid of the water and is learning to swim. That sounds great but now we need to watch her closer than ever. We’re trying to work with her every day until she can actually swim at least 10′ or so. (maybe 12′ since the pool has a 24′ diameter). That way worse case she’s in the center of the pool and can swim to the edge or float of some kind. I’m one proud Dad watching her paddle of over that pool at 23 months old. By her 3rd birthday she should be able to swim across and back.  The way she is growing taller she’ll be able to touch the ground soon.

I’m very proud of Eric as well. He’s a good teacher and will make a great father, much better than I am. The way a teenage boy treats a 2 year old girl says a lot about his character and what type of man he’ll become! Great Job Eric… I do notice and I’m EXTREMELY PROUD OF YOU SON!!!

Still Sick

Still trying to kick the sickness. I went to another doctor and got some NEW more powerful anti-biotic pills so maybe I can finally start feeling back to normal! It’s been 3 weeks now and when I think this is finished and I’m feeling better it hits me full force again. I guess I’ve missed another few days of posting because I have been to sick and not feeling well enough to set in front of a computer and think…LOL

I am getting better and that is the good thing. I’m hoping buy Sunday I’ll feel like a new man.
