Always fight against any type of censorship! Once the government starts any type of Censorship it always leads into something else and more. We are adult and can control ourselves without the government telling what I can look at, read, listen to, or think about! It is their way of controlling the American population
The 13 Rules Of Gunfighting Everyone Should Know
1) Guns have only two enemies: rust and politicians.
2) It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
3) Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.
4) Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length.
5) Never say “I’ve got a gun.” If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.
6) The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes, the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.
7) The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win – cheat if necessary.
8) Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets…You may get killed with your own gun, but he’ll have to beat you to death with it, cause it’ll be empty.
9) If you’re in a gun fight:
If you’re not shooting, you should be loading.
If you’re not loading, you should be moving.
If you’re not shooting, moving or loading, you’re probably dead.
10) In a life and death situation, do something…It may be wrong, but do something!
11) If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?
12) You can say ‘stop’ or ‘alto’ or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much a universal language.
13) You cannot save the planet, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.
“Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading,” — Thomas Jefferson
Flying a Kite
We watched this guy for about 1 hour or so.
He went way out to where we could barley see the kite before he headed back in. He wasn’t a young guy either, probably in his early 50’s but in great shape. It was one of those things that was cool as hell to watch but I would not want to do it myself.
Make up post for April 17
We’re Home
After being going since Thursday morning it’s great to be home again. We went to Panama City where I taught a couple of classes and then over to Wakulla Spring where we went swimming and go to stay in the hotel that would build back in the 30’s and it’s pretty much still original. We had a great time and ate some awesome food. The family and I ate in the hotel restaurant, which has excellent ratings, and I had the blackened grouper, with backed potato and broccoli. That has to be a meal that is in the top 10 best meals of my life. My wife, son, and daughters all raved about their meals as well. My wife had crab cakes, and my son have fillet minion, and daughters had shrimp and hush puppies.
I had to work Friday and Saturday and even with the ride up there and back I feel as if I just got back from vacation. I good for another 6 months or so.
In Panama City
We drove for about 7 hours but made it safe and sound. We stopped a dozen time but hey we were in no hurry to get here. My class does not start until 1pm tomorrow so I get to sleep in tomorrow.
Panama City is an hour behind us so when it’s 9 am our time it’s 8 am there time. So Saturday when I get to go teach it’ll feel I’m sleeping in. It’s been a long time since we’ve been here so I want to sight see some on Panama City Beach and take some photos.
Even though I’m teaching a couple of days this is going to be a great weekend!
Quick Update on Going to Teach
1/2 of us are going to Panama City this weekend the other 1/2 is staying home water the peppers and guarding the plants.
I’m going up to Panama City to teach some EPA classes on Friday and Saturday. No big deal really, the only tough thing is the drive up there and then the drive back. It’s 6 – 6 1/2 hours up there and then come back. We’re going to stay, Thursday night and Friday night in P.C. then we are heading home and staying somewhere up in the panhandle of Florida and driving back home Sunday morning.
As soon as we get home I have to teach a Georgia webinar class, so it’s going to be a long week. But hey I’ll make some good money.
Cuba is OFF the list
The United States decided to drop Cuba from its list of state sponsors of terrorism on Tuesday partly because of Cuban assurances that it would not support terrorism in the future… This is an historical day! We are so close to opeing the boarders up once again to CUBA. What has it been… 55 years or so since Americans have been able to go to Cuba. Once that officially does happen you’ll see Americans rushing down and buying all the older cars. Then then vacation resorts will open up and docks for cruise ships will be built. Cuba as we’ve known it for the past 50+ years will disappear within a matter of a couple of years or less.
I don’t know if that is going to be a good or bad thing. I think we’ll move fast and hard and this time annex the country as a U.S. Territory. LOL I may not be kidding about that one!
Diabetes
Yes I have Diabetes, nothing to be ashamed of that is just the way it is. Who’s to blame… I am. What am I doing about it? Well I’m on a pill to help regulate the blood sugar, now I have to work on my diet and start exercising. It sounds so easy to most but that is way easier said than done for me.
Food, especially sugar is my kryptonite. No matter how hard I try not to eat it before I know or realize it I’m eating a candy bar, cake, or some type of pie. It’s not just processed sugar but starches as well. Bread, pasta, etc. all turn into sugar, so it not just cutting out the sweets.
It’s type II diabetes but that is serious enough when I’m only 51 years old. I’ve got a 3 and 9 year old still to raise. So I need a lifestyle change and I need to stick with it.
My Trees
Now I consider myself an arborist. I love trees and I’m always planting seeds to grow new ones. When you plant a tree you have to continuously water it, fertilize it, make sure it’s getting enough and not to much. You constantly have to repot them in new pots to make sure their roots have enough room to grow. So when one dies or someone kills it is a little upsetting.
When the trees become 3 foot tall you stop worrying so much that someone may not see it and run over it. But, that is an assumption that they’re smart enough to realize it’s a tree.
My wife’s niece ran over another one of my trees that makes two in the last month. They wonder why I get so upset. It only took me two years to grow them from seeds caring for them every day. If it would’ve just died I could accept that, but they were killed due to pure stupid fucking ignorance. I will never like her again because of that. Or it would take a very long time for me to get over it.
Taste Of Pasco
We went to a local event tonight called, “Taste of Pasco”. It’s where a bunch of food vendors and sponsors set up and served us all a taste of their food. I will definitely patronize their restaurants again.
The kids played on the slides and in the jump-house, got their face painted, and had their picture taken with a princes. But most of all they got to try new foods they normally would not have eaten.
Thank you “Taste of Pasco” … I think everyone enjoyed the food and we all had a great time! I had to teach all day and went after I got off at 4:30 and even I enjoyed myself, tired but had a great time.
Thanks Bob for the tickets… I’m not sure if I would have paid $25 per ticket
